Sigaba Vault, a strong “pull” technology, where recipients are directed to a secure web-based email inbox, like Yahoo!® or Hotmail®, to view their secure messages. Our embeddable database enables integration directly into existing portals. Vault enables users to login to Vault in order to read, reply, forward or compose secure messages.

HOW VAULT WORKS

Using Sigaba Vault for Secure Electronic Document Delivery
An email is drafted and sent from the enterprise in the usual, everyday fashion. Upon traversing the Sigaba Gateway, the message (according to policies) is encrypted and placed into the Sigaba Vault. In lieu of the original message, the Gateway sends a branded clear-text message to the recipient’s enterprise inbox that includes a URL to the Sigaba Vault authentication page. Upon successful authentication after initial registration, the recipient is presented with their online inbox and messages. As the recipient clicks on each link to a document, the message is decrypted and rendered in a web mail interface. The recipient may also securely reply to these messages or Compose to within the sending domain.
