ANNE A. ARMSTRONG
Anne Armstrong serves as Publisher of FCW Media Group, a division of 101 Communications, and heads the unit that provides information for the government information technology marketplace. Prior to FCW, she served as president of Virginia's Center for Innovative Technology. Active in the business of information technology for more than 20 years, Ms. Armstrong founded and was president of Langley Publications, a research publishing company, and she has been part of the management team for four start-up entrepreneurial efforts. She holds a BA degree in English from Vanderbilt University and a master's degree in the history of ideas from Johns Hopkins University.ROGER BAKER
Roger Baker was most recently the chief information officer at the U.S. Department of Commerce, where he managed an IT organization with 6000 employees and a budget of $1.5 billion. There, he led efforts to improve technology management, reduce costs by consolidating duplicate services, convert old systems and processes to e-commerce and create a Federal CIO position. Prior to his U.S. government service, Mr. Baker served in executive positions with Rational Software, the META Group and VISA International, where he was responsible for the creation and operation of the VISA online banking system.ALAN BALUTIS
Alan Balutis is the executive director and chief operating officer for the Federation of Government Information Processing Councils and the Industry Advisory Council in Washington, D.C. He has worked for more than 25 years in the public sector, serving first in the then-Department of Health, Education and Welfare and, for the past 20 years, in planning, management analysis, budgeting and information technology positions at the Commerce Department. Mr. Balutis was also head of the Advanced Technology Program, which functions as a public-sector venture capital fund investing in long-term, high-risk research and development for the Department of Commerce.LLOYD GRIFFITHS
Lloyd Griffiths, Ph.D. is the dean of the School of Information Technology and Engineering at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. Since 1970, Dr. Griffiths has held a number of prestigious academic posts at the Universities of Colorado and Southern California in the fields of computer science and electrical engineering.ED HART
Ed Hart is president of Hart Enterprises, LLC, an information technology consulting firm serving government, high-technology companies and Fortune 100 clients. Previously, Mr. Hart served as Senior Vice President and Director of the Center for Information Protection with SAIC, a worldwide diversified technology corporation. Mr. Hart joined SAIC in 1996 after a long and distinguished career with the National Security Agency, where he served in a wide variety of technical and managerial positions.TOM HEWITT
ChairmanIn December 1984, Tom Hewitt founded Federal Sources, Inc. (FSI), a market research and consulting firm focused on IT in the federal government. In 1998, Mr. Hewitt sold FSI to Primedia Information, Inc., publishers of business-to-business directories and magazines meeting the day-to-day information demands of industry professionals. Before founding FSI, Mr. Hewitt was a Senior Vice President of Kentron, which was acquired by PRC. Before that, he held senior-level positions at CSC, including President of Infonet Government Systems Division and Vice President of Program Development of the Systems Group. He has also served as Chairman of the Board of Business World, Inc., which is organized to trade as Entre Computer Center and pursue the retail micro marketplace, and he was with Boeing Computer Services for six years, where he started and subsequently managed its Federal government marketing operations.
Tom is also a member of Sigaba's Board of Directors.
