ROBERT E. COOK
Non-Executive Chairman
Bob Cook was founder, Chairman and Chief Executive of Systems Center, Incorporated
(NYSE: SMX) from 1981 until 1993, when it was sold to Sterling Software.
He was a seed investor, CEO advisor and board member for WebMethods, Inc.
and has served on the boards of various technology companies. Mr. Cook
is a Managing Director of Royal Wulff Ventures, LC, which specializes in
early-stage investments. Mr. Cook is an active philanthropist; he endowed
the Robert E. Cook Honors College of Indiana University of Pennsylvania
and is active in national efforts to bring research-based educational practices
to inner city and poor rural children. Cook holds a BS degree from Indiana
University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from The George Washington University.
TROY HARTLESS
President and CEO
Mr. Hartless brings a wealth of sales and management experience in security,
networking, and enterprise software. Prior to joining Sigaba, Mr. Hartless
held the position of Vice President, Enterprise Solutions and Product Management
at GTSI Corporation. Before GTSI, Mr. Hartless was Senior Vice President
and Chief Operating Officer at Infodata Systems responsible for Global
Sales, Marketing, and Consulting until McDonald Bradley acquired Infodata
in 2005. During his tenure at Infodata, Mr. Hartless served in several
executive management positions including Vice President of Sales and Marketing,
and Vice President and General Manager of the Public Sector. Mr. Hartless
served in other key executive positions prior to Infodata including Executive
Vice President, Solutions Technology International, Senior Vice President,
Operations at Ikimbo, Inc; and in various positions in marketing, product
management and the international division, of a joint venture between Ericsson
and General Electric. Mr. Hartless holds a Bachelor's degree in Business
Management with a concentration in Marketing from Liberty University in
Lynchburg, Virginia.
TOM HEWITT
In December 1984, Tom Hewitt founded Federal Sources, Inc. (FSI), a market
research and consulting firm focused on IT in the federal government. In
1998, Mr. Hewitt sold FSI to Primedia Information, Inc., publishers of
business-to-business directories and magazines featuring essential data
vital to the day-to-day knowledge needs of industry professionals. Prior
to founding FSI, he was a Senior Vice President of Kentron, which was acquired
by PRC. Before that, Mr. Hewitt held senior-level positions at CSC, including
President of Infonet Government Systems Division and Vice President of
Program Development of the Systems Group. He has also served as Chairman
of the Board of Business World, Inc., which is organized to trade as Entre
Computer Center and pursue the retail micro marketplace. Earlier in his
career, Mr. Hewitt was with Boeing Computer Services for six years, where
he started and subsequently managed its Federal government marketing operations.
ROBERT J. (ROCKY) SPANE
Rocky Spane brings a unique blend of experiences and qualifications to
every organization and group with which he associates. As a career officer
in the U.S. Navy for 33 years, he rose from the rank of Ensign to Vice
Admiral. After leaving the Navy, he started his own consulting company,
Pacific Associates, and was asked to sit on the boards of several public
and privately held companies, including Vanguard Airlines. Mr. Spane joined
the board of Vanguard in April of 1996; he became President, CEO and Chairman
of the Board in June 1997. He has now reduced his activities at Vanguard,
but he remains Chairman of the Board.
LEE M. GAMMILL, JR
Lee Gammill first entered the insurance industry in 1957 with New York
Life, where he was selected to the Board of Directors in 1992 and retired
as Vice Chairman of the Board in 1997. He actively served on New York Life's
Executive Management Committee, became Senior Vice President in 1986, and
Executive Vice President in 1989. He has served as Chairman of the Board
for the Life Underwriter's Training Council and Life Insurance Marketing
and Research Association, and he was elected Trustee of the American College
in 1997. Mr. Gammill is a Dartmouth College graduate and maintains his
Chartered Life Underwriter designation.
CHARLES A. LYNCH
Charles A. Lynch has years of experience leading and managing businessess
of all kinds. Currently the chairman of Market Value Partners Company,
a management resource for existing and emerging businesses, Lynch has led,
directed and advised more than 70 organizations worldwide. He has served
as chairman, chief executive officer and president of many major corporations,
including Saga, DHL Airways and Greyhound. He has also worked with several
organizations in the healthcare industry, serving as chairman of the Palo
Alto Medical Foundation and as a director of Syntex Corporation and Pacific
Life. Mr. Lynch holds a degree in industrial administration from Yale University
and an honorary doctor of laws from Golden Gate University.
THOMAS G. GREIG
Tom Greig joined Liberty Partners in 1998 after 25 years in investment
banking. He spent 13 years with Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette as head of
its technology investment banking practice, and has worked with technology
companies in communications equipment, computer systems, electronic components,
semiconductor, software and manufacturing services. Mr. Greig earned a
BS in Engineering (Electrical) with honors from Princeton University, an
MSE in Electrical Engineering from New York University and an MBA with
distinction from Harvard Business School.
G. MICHAEL STAKIAS
Mike Stakias joined Liberty Partners in 1998 after 18 years in the private
practice of law. He was a Senior Partner and Chairman of the Corporate
and Business Department at the Philadelphia law firm of Blank Rome Comisky & McCauley,
where he practiced law in the securities, mergers and acquisitions, technology
and emerging growth company arenas. Mr. Stakias joined Blank Rome in 1980,
after working with the Division of Corporation Finance at the U.S. Securities & Exchange
Commission in Washington D.C. He received a BA from the College of William & Mary,
a JD (cum laude) from Thomas M. Cooley Law School and an LLM in Corporate
Finance from New York University School of Law, which he attended as a
Securities Regulation Fellow.
